The Grateful Dead, Kresge Plaza, MIT, Cambridge, MA May 6, 1970. A free concert played to a protest rally against the Vietnam war and the killing of four students by National Guard troops at Kent State University in Ohio two days earlier.

A few years back MIT ran a ‘survey’ for their next museum exhibit and this show was one of the choices. Sadly it did not gather enough votes but here’s to hoping it happens someday.
